Dr. Anthony Borgia is a graduate of the St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA. He obtained his medical training at the prestigious Temple Medical School of Podiatric Medicine, and he completed his residency through the Albert Einstein/ Graduate Hospital Philadelphia, PA. He then finished as Chief Resident at the University of Massachusetts at St. Vincent Hospital. He went on to complete fellowship in complex surgery and trauma from St. Joseph University, Philadelphia PA. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS).
Dr. Borgia has been in practice since 1988. His special interests are foot and ankle reconstruction, limb salvage, diabetic ulcers bunions, hammer toe and wound care. He was given a title of Associate Professor of Medicine, Nevada School of Medicine, UNR. Since 2003, Dr. Borgia has been the Chief Podiatric Section, Dept. of Surgery for UMC Hospital.
